If you’re nervous about getting your first headshots done don’t be. He’s super chill and super laid-back and there’s nothing to be nervous about. It’s a fun experience and he does super good work for the price you pay you can’t go wrong with choosing him.
I had a great experience getting my headshots done with Dylan. He was very courteous and guided me expertly during the photoshoot. He definitely knows what he is doing and knows how to bring the better side of you before the camera. Highly recommend!
Greetings! I’m Dylan Pierce and if you’re looking to shoot with one of the best headshot photographers Los Angeles has to offer, look no further! I’m a native Angeleno (I know, it’s rare) and I picked up a camera at an early age and haven’t been able to put it down since. Right from the beginning I simply loved photographing people and trying to capture their essence. Naturally, I ended up specializing in headshot photography.
Headshot photography is indeed a niche specialty in the world of portraits. And unless you’re one of those wonderful people who stops in the middle of the crosswalk to take a selfie while everyone is honking and screaming “GO!”, I’d be willing to bet that standing in front of a camera while someone clicks away isn’t your idea of a good time. Yet whether you’re an actor, an attorney, or even the CEO of a startup, you must have a calling card that legitimately represents who you are.
Corporate Headshots are rather straightforward: you need a pleasant and inviting photo that lets prospective clients or employers know that you’re trustworthy and that they can do business with you. I can help you get that shot in less than 30 minutes so you can get back to the hustle!
Acting headshots are much more intricate. In the competitive LA headshots scene, an actor must have multiple looks to showcase the wide range of characters they can play. This will get you noticed by agents and casting directors who can help advance your career. I will work with you, not just with outfit consultation which anyone can do, but more importantly, I will constantly direct you as we shoot, giving you verbal cues that will naturally bring the characters out of you in an organic way.
The difference between a good headshot and an outstanding one is very little. But it’s that little difference that can have a huge impact on your career. Let’s work together to get you the best headshots LA has ever seen!

Each session lasts 60 minutes, giving you plenty of time for outfit changes, different poses, and capturing a variety of shots.
You’ll receive 200-300 final images within 48 hours after your session.
Yes but please no more than 2 people as our space is small.

You’re welcome to bring multiple outfits. In fact, please bring extras just so we have options. Sticking to solid colors is always best for headshots. You can always text Dylan your ideas and he will respond. 310-770-5210.
Yes! Your package includes 3 pics retouched.
No problem! If something comes up, just give me at least 12 hours’ notice, and we’ll find a new date that works for you.
Stick to solid colors that complement your skin tone and bring out your eyes. Avoid busy patterns, no logos, or overly trendy outfits. Bring different options so we can see what works best. You can always bring more so we have options and you can always text us photos of your choices and we’ll tell you if it’ll work or not.
Yes, but subtly. The goal is to enhance your natural features while keeping you looking like yourself. We’ll remove minor blemishes, stray hairs, and adjust lighting to make your headshots look polished yet authentic and make sure that they pop off the page.
You’ll receive all your images via Google Drive within 24 hours of your session. Once we receive your selections, you choose your favorites, final retouched images will be delivered within 3-4 days.
Natural is key! We always recommend that actors do their own hair and makeup if possible. This ensures that when you get called in for an audition based on your headshot, you can easily recreate the same look on your own. After all, your headshot should be an authentic representation of you—there’s no benefit in looking completely different in person.
That said, if your hair is more challenging to manage, we do recommend visiting a professional before your session to ensure it looks its best. The goal is to keep things simple, polished, and true to how you’ll appear in the casting room.
A great acting headshot captures your true essence while remaining natural and professional. It should reflect your personality, casting type, and the kind of roles you want to be considered for. Good lighting, a confident expression, and a relaxed pose make all the difference.
We provide high-resolution files ready for both digital and print use. While we don’t print in-house, we can recommend trusted print shops that specialize in acting headshots.
Absolutely! If having someone there helps you feel comfortable, they’re welcome to join. However, we recommend bringing someone who will be supportive and not distracting.
We understand that things come up! If you need to reschedule, just let us know at least 48 hours in advance, and we’ll find a new time that works.
Indeed! There’s always plenty of free two-hour parking out front— except on Mondays and Tuesdays when street cleaning is in full force. But don’t worry, you can always drop off your outfits and then find a good spot. Dylan is also a semi-professional parallel parker, so if you need his assistance, don’t hesitate to call!
As for coffee, we’re always fully stocked with plenty of Nespresso pods and delicious Oatly Barista milk, so you can enjoy a double-shot cappuccino while we get you camera-ready!
